We were delighted to have our colleagues from the WHIA team join us in our community café this week to showcase their services. It’s the first of a series of coffee mornings which focusses on the services available in Warrington.

The WHIA team met people to talk about the services they have

• Help with finding trusted contractors
• Support with small repairs around the home
• Advice on larger jobs like bathroom refurbishments

Clients said “I feel very secure having their advice” and “the WHIA team are diamonds”

On the day the team helped with everything from rebuilding a garden wall, rehanging kitchen cupboards and cutting down trees.

Georgina from the WHIA team said “it was great to meet everyone this morning and it was really nice that we were able to help. Sometimes those little jobs can be a worry and it can be hard to know where to start. I wish more people knew about our service, we know the difference it can make having someone to help you”

Sylvia one of the volunteers at Lifetime said “I have used the service and its really good to know that I can contact them if there is any small job I need advice about.”
